Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a bizarre collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of banned rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.
The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Additional Content
Players who finish the mission will obtain an special katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-inspired costume for Yasuke
- Mikasa attire for Naoe
- Exclusive weapons

Newest Free Story Update
