Nigel Farage Accuses Teachers of ‘Poisoning Our Kids’ on Race Issues

The political figure stated that educators would initiate walkouts within weeks a Reform UK election victory, accusing them of “harming young minds” by instructing students that African-Caribbean youth are oppressed and Caucasian students are perpetrators.

During an event for a private US Christian college, Farage outlined his viewpoint on the UK education system, claiming that the “radical left-wing” had “taken over schooling”.

“I’m anticipating a walkout by educators very quickly after winning the next general election,” he remarked during a Q&A session.

“They are corrupting young minds. They instruct children to be ashamed of their country. They inform little Johnny, who’s eight, who is black that he is a victim and little Oliver, who is white, who is eight that he is a perpetrator. They are dividing us, not uniting us. They are feeding this negative culture.”

In response to these assertions, Daniel Kebede dismissed the idea that the education system was controlled by Marxists as “absurd”. Kebede noted that industrial action must relate to teachers’ terms and conditions, and questioned whether Reform would attack these right after taking office.

“The politician has crafted his political career on coded rhetoric and now, similar to other figures, he is targeting educators and their unions for a fight,” the union leader said.

“This is highly reckless. Neither I nor our union – advocate such divisive theories as he’s suggesting … If he were to lead the government he would sell out our public services, including education … and he would be a disaster for education and children.”

Reform, which is leading the polls by about 10 points, has provided limited specifics on a proposed education policy and does not appear to have designated an education lead.

However, Farage’s remarks suggested the party would overhaul the system and the curriculum. Farage declared: “We have got a massive job with schooling – absolutely herculean. Moreover, we can’t do it in six months or a year; it will take us years, a long-term effort to reform.”

Farage expressed that gen Z was more open to analytical thought, but older youth were “completely lost”.

Honoring Charlie Kirk, Farage said: “My goal for schooling is to foster independent thought – to instruct people that there are two points of view and you make up your own mind rather than what’s happening now where one is virtuous and one is evil. It’s a massive job in the UK and US.”

The party has conflicted with a major educators’ organization, after the union leader labeled them “far right and racist” and described the leader as “a cheap imitation”.

The politician has charged the union head with being “an avowed radical” … an individual intent that our children should be poisoned at school, their minds should be poisoned about everything to do with this country” and maintained that the organization seeks to brainwash teenagers against Reform.

Roughly a million individuals are employed in education in the UK, about half of whom are teachers and the remainder being assistants and administrative personnel. The leading teachers’ organization has hundreds of thousands of members.

National strikes over teacher pay and conditions in recent years caused widespread disruption in schools and extensive missed instruction for students.

During the American gathering, Farage also vowed to promote the digital courses of the institution in the UK. He stated organizations like it were “key to resistance”, adding that: “I mean this. I’ll assist garner hundreds of thousands, if not millions of young people to your online courses. I pledge this now and I’ll do that.”

The college, a small private Christian college, offers free courses. According to its online description: “A scientific, literary, theological, political, and moral education is necessary for personal happiness and to maintain the benefits of civil and religious liberty. The college furnishes these beautiful courses for free to all who wish to learn.”
