This powerful storm, called in the region Tino, devastated the densely inhabited island of Cebu, flooding complete communities and washing automobiles along avenues.
Numerous individuals of people have been evacuated, others are resting in temporary accommodations.

Rescue teams have begun work as evacuated residents take cover in temporary housing.
